Monitoring Reports

The Payette National Forest was a leader in developing and implementing fish habitat monitoring, particularly of instream sediment conditions. This was a result of devastating floods and landsliding that occurred on steep, improperly logged lands in the South Fork Salmon River (SFSR) watershed. I was involved with the SFSR watershed over my entire career, during which time I produced dozens of monitoring reports about sediment conditions and other components of salmonid habitat.
